Actress Yvonne Nelson was last weekend honoured for her contributions to the film industry in Africa, and also creating awareness about glaucoma. The ceremony took place at the official launch of the Printex GOWOMAN Magazine, at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel, on Saturday.

A citation accompanying her award read “For your contributions to the growth of the African film industry and your efforts to increase awareness, we say thank you. Printex Ghana is delighted to recognize you both as an actress and as an award winning producer. On this day 13th April 2013 , we would like to present you this GOWOMAN certificate of recognition to encourage you do more. You are a GOWOMAN, just keep going YVONNE NELSON…Printex GH”.

Last weekend will certainly be one of her best as the movie she co produced with Media Gh was also well received by patrons.
