Information reaching us indicate that the mother of George Weah (Former World Best Footballer) has died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra after a short illness at age 64. The body has been deposited at the mortuary for the autopsy and other processes.

George Weah is currently in the United States so the family is waiting for him to return to Ghana for her burial arrangement. George Weah’s mother has been living in Ghana for the past 16 years.
