A Kumawood actress said not long ago that there is no unity among stars from the Kumasi movie industry but with what happened at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi on Sunday, May 15 when Emelia Brobbey organised “Save The Orphan” musical concert, I’m tempted not to believe that allegation.
Hours into Emelia Brobbey’s concert, actress Mercy Aseidu and husband, Nana Agyemang Badu Duah I, Chief of the Kunsu Traditional Area in Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region walked in to show their support. After them was beautiful actress Vivian Jill Lawrence and Roselyn Ngissah who came to sit next to Mercy and her husband.
Minutes after the two groups had taken their seats, Emelia Brobbey and Brother Sammy performed their collaborated song, “Kae Yen”. During their performance, Mercy Asiedu and Vivian Jill Lawrence showed love to their colleague in the movie industry.
The two showered money on Emelia Brobbey and Brother Sammy who were passionately singing to raise funds for Cherubs Orphanage Home classroom block.
Personalities who attended Emelia Brobbey’s “Save The Orphan” musical concert which happened at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi on Sunday, May 15 were Bill Asamoah, Kwaku Manu, Apostle John Prah, DCOP Kofi Boakye aka Commander 1, Oware Jnr, Brother Sammy, Daddy K.D, Samdackus, Big Akwes, Dr Takyi Manfred of Joy Daddy Industry, Naana Hayford, Tracey Boakye, Christiana Awuni, Benedicta Gafah, Bernice Asare and many others.
