A cctv has captured a group of military officers brutalizing residents of Appolonia near Afienya in the Kpone-Katamanso district.
The military officers apart from pulling down structures in the area, also severely brutalized some residents.
They also stormed the premises of Shelter Matrix Block Factory and hit workers with the butt of their guns.
The military officers who undertook the operations on Wednesday and Saturday, alleged they were contracted by a known sanitation company to evict the occupants of the land, claiming ownership.
Eyewitnesses say the officers drove in a military pickup vehicle with registration number 44 GA 12 and a private Toyota pickup with registration number GN 8432-11.
The Director of Public Affairs for the Ghana Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Quarshie, told TV3 they have no knowledge of the incident but said investigations have begun to unravel those behind the act.
Military personnel have often been accused of such brutalities with the public having very little confidence in the military administration to deal with such officers satisfactorily.
