Several traders and shop owners woke-up this morning to find out fire has burnt down Makola Market in Accra. The fire started 8pm yesterday, destroying goods worth millions of Ghana cedis.

More than 12 fire tenders came to the scene of the incident to bring the situation under control. The Ghana Fire Service have started investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
